Macbook Pro Memory purchase Review by unicornmg3
Memory purchased from Komputerbay 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 SODIMM (204pin) 1066Mhz PC3-8500 (7-7-7-20) has worked without any issues at all & price was reasonable, unlike some other sites. I had ordered memory from another site per their stated specs for mid 2009 Macbook Pro 13" A1278 2.26Ghz Intel processor. The memory that was shipped was not correct specs and wouldn't boot. I returned for credit as product wasn't correct for my laptop. Lesson learned be sure memory that you order is based on manufacturer's spec for your specific model. Thank you for quick service and no errors, and I will definitely keep you in mind for my next purchase. ***This review was posted on:*** (Posted on 09/06/2014)

Quality! Review by Peter ":)"
I got this RAM after extensive research. Not really, I was just looking at DDR3 RAM for my Mac. I wanted to get Corsair RAM but due to budget reasons and the need to buy other products, cutting some costs were necessary. I took a risk in buying RAM from Komputerbay. They don't even have a website!! I saw that their other RAM had had good reviews and this RAM had 1 good review so I decided "Why not?" From what I've seen in other pictures, RAM from Komputerbay has lifetime warranty. Some people in other reviews have reported that Komputerbay RAM were DOA, or it just kept on causing their computer to crash or not even boot up. With the Lifetime warranty, I could just send it back, so I decided to take a plunge.

I was glad I did. The RAM speed things up so much. I was running Lion (10.7) with the same amount of RAM my MacBook came with when It ran Snow Leopard (10.6). The problem with Mac OS is that it doesn't manage RAM that well. My MacBook was fine with Snow Leopard. It ran okay, but when I upgraded to Lion, it was just a step down. I thought it was cause of bad coding. When I got my RAM and installed it, it booted up fine. While I was using my computer, I realized it was just amazingly snappier. So I decided to do a little test. I restarted my commuter and opened Activity Monitor. I looked at how much RAM was used, and I was astonished. It used about 1.6 GB of RAM already!! So during the time I had Lion, I was running multiple tabs of Safari, Mail, Pages, and iTunes on about 400 MB of RAM. After a couple hours of usage, I checked Activity Monitor again and realized I was up to nearly 4 GB used.

In other words, this is a great buy, and if you run Lion, get more than get this. You can get 4GB of RAM depending on your usage, but I recommend 8 to be future-proof ***This review was posted on:*** (Posted on 09/06/2014)
Works great with Mac Mini Review by Shawno
Purchased this RAM to upgrade a 2010-edition Apple Mac Mini. Took it from the stock 2 GB of RAM all the way up to 8 GB (the factory-spec maximum for this machine). The RAM's been in the machine now for a few weeks and it's running perfectly. Great value for the price. ***This review was posted on:*** (Posted on 09/06/2014)
a+ Review by D. Sauro
Great price great performance .... After sale "care" a little over the top. But that is better than most electronics retailer/ etailers. ***This review was posted on:*** (Posted on 09/06/2014)
Works just as it should Review by AggieFamily
I purchased this to upgrade my RAM in my older iMac; I upgraded from 4GB to 8GB of RAM.
I found instructions online on how to change out the RAM myself.
The computer booted up afterward just fine and works great (and faster too!).
Very happy and a good price for RAM. ***This review was posted on:*** (Posted on 09/06/2014)

Ram for my 13" Mac Book early 2010 Review by Charles Englert
I chose this ram because of the compatibility and cost. Once I received the ram I installed it and was off and running. Of course the improved performance of my machine was expected with the upgrade, the proof would be the compatibility.

Once installed the ram has worked perfectly. The proof of a good product for me is that once I install it I never think about it again. The upgrade just works. In this case my choice was a good one.

I've used other well known brands in the past and I'd say that this product is easily on the same level as Crucial or Kingston. ***This review was posted on:*** (Posted on 09/06/2014)
