The laptop memory card arrived very quickly and was exactly as specified. It was very securely packaged in a plastic clamshell which required quite a bit of effort to prise open, but protected the card within very well. The memory was delivered within the timeframe expected and when installed in the PC to replace the original 2 x 1GB memory cards, there were no issues then or after several weeks of use.
It worked straight out of the box as one would expect. My PC now runs faster with the additional memory and I've probably extended the life of the PC by at least a year.

As ever Windows 7 does not perform very well with less than 4 GB of memory.Rating
So I was delighted to find this offer from Komperbay so that I could upgrade from 2GB to 4 GB.
Fitting was a doddle and my Panasonic Toughbook now works at a reasonable speed.
The price of these modules was very competitive and they work perfectly.
I felt safe in buying them on Amazon as there is never any quibble over returns.
I thoroughly recommend Komputerbay memory, it does what it is supposed to do, work.

I bought two 4GB ram chips for my ageing Dell Latitude 620D laptop; upgrading from 1GB. This was the cheapest DDR2 PC5300 RAM I could find. The RAM arrived within a few days and was packaged very well. I plugged it in and ... what should I say? It just works. I ran a few memory tests and no errors were shown.Rating

OK whats to say 200pin DDR2 ram fitted in to laptop as easy as putting in a Disc. Rebooted and hay presto 2gb of ram registered straight away no issues (Mother Board max capacity). Tested using mem test works as advertised, cycle is up to speed running windows 7. Standard Acer Notebook has 1GB memory and due to adding more programmes was getting slower. Decided to upgrade to 2GB , a bit apprehensive remembering having to strip my old desktop to do the same upgrade.Rating

My wife's laptop was running slow as over the years she piled in programs related to her hobby which was genealogy. At times she would have several applications opened and running simultaneously which would use up a lot of memory. As there was a vacant slot in the memory chamber I decided to increase it by purchasing a 2 gig sdram module. Now in the past I've found the memory modules had little or no info on it at all. After sifting through a selection of sticks I came across the Komputerbay offer. The module was labelled and packed with info that I needed to know and the price was agreeable as well. The memory arrived on time. I installed them on my 5 years old Dell Inspiron 6400. In the picture you see RAM chips made by Hynix, in some way this is false advertising since the product I have received is of indeterminate origin. Worse then that the packaging was not sealed and was packed in a case without markings so it is impossible to say if it is new.Rating
But what is more important is that it is also defective and freezes my laptop after short periods of usage. Having read reviews about this chip not working on a MacBook Pro AFTER I had ordered it I was a bit concerned!!Rating
Anyway I was fitting this to a 17in MacBook Pro Gen 4 which already had its maximum of 4Gb onboard. I had read an article that you could actually squeeze these up to 6gb by replacing 1 of the 2gb chips with a 4gb and the motherboard would recognise it.
With trepidation I fitted the chip when it arrived and low and behold it didn't work. I swapped it into the other slot and it still didn't work. I was about to give up when I decided to try again only double checking that it was seating correctly in the slot.
THIS TIME IT WORKED :) I now have a 6gb MacBook Pro that no longer slows down when I load 1 of my parallels partitions whilst working in oracle on the Mac environment AND running iTunes. :)
I would recommend this product as it did it for me

Bought 8GB as 2x4GB chips as I am short of cash and this was the cheapest DDR2 PC5300 RAM I could find, I was a bit nervous but the RAM arrived in reasonable time and has bedded in well. I can not identify the chips or the boards so this is truly generic RAM, the manufacturer does not even show up in CPU-Z :) However it passed every test I could run and I ran the full suite of Lenovo RAM tests on this memory.Rating
I also ran speed tests on my old RAM before inserting the new chips and the results were identical for old and new so all in all I am very happy.
It's now a week later and I am running several Virtual Machines on my laptop and taking full advantage of the extra RAM, I am running VMware Server on a Windows 7 64 bit host and have a Windows Server 2008 R2 VM running at the same time as 2 Ubuntu VM installations and still have RAM to spare for the host operating system, so I am pretty sure that the full address space available is being well tested.

The memory works great! I'm using it in my iMac 24" (late 2007) with Kingston memory (2GB, same specifications). Nowadays it's a bit hard to find 4Gb 667Mhz memory modules, so I was happy to find Komputerbay modules!Rating
