I bought this to max out the memory of an MSI Wind U100 netbook. Installation is literally a "snap". If you have an MSI wind as well, make sure you go into the BIOS setup and make sure that you have enabled the memory slot. Otherwise, memory was recognized immediately and I was able to over clock as well. Very happy with purchase. While the machine is wildly outdated and still running WinXP, I use the computer only to run TrainerRoad cycling software and it works great. I got this DDR2 for my 6 year old laptop and was slightly doubtful when I did buy it because it was significantly cheaper than the ones made by the more well known manufacturers. It turns out the RAM works just perfectly and I have been using it for quite sometime now and it has been stable and works very well with my other RAM on board. RAM must work first time every time or it is no good. There can not be a 99 percent function. I put the ram in my 2007 iMac mini and it fired up and ran memory test perfectly first time. It was delivered on time and I would use and recommend the company again.

Purchased this as a RAM upgrade for a Toshiba Satellite A205. The RAM showed up in the BIOS but the computer would not boot. It is definitely NOT the fault of the RAM. After a little research, I found that Satellites are rather finicky and have "tight tolerances" for after market stuff.

So... writing this not as a bump on this product, which I am sure would have done the trick on another computer, but to let folks know that if they buy less expensive RAM (or sometimes just a different brand) and it fails to work on their system, it may not be the RAM but the system being picky.
